Being safe is good business. Driver Pipeline’s goal is to be the safest contractor in the industry. Every Driver employee is committed to the safety of our people and is thoroughly trained to ensure safe behavior. Based on Driver’s extensive training program and complete commitment to safe practices, all company employees are aware of their responsibilities to co-workers, customers, and to the general public. Driver Pipeline has a fully staffed safety department charged with insuring our full compliance in all areas of:
Employee Training
The training and orientation of newly hired employees is a key focus, as are ongoing training initiatives for employees and teams. Training for company employees covers all baseline safety and health training per OSHA CFR 1926/1910 standards. Additionally, environmental baseline training is aimed at spill/pollution prevention and waste minimization. Our employees are also trained to fully comply with customers’ Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP).
HSE Programs
Essential to achieving the highest safety levels in the industry is our commitment to establish and communicate to all employees the safety and health philosophy and principles by which Driver Pipeline Company will be guided, and to help define the role and responsibilities regarding safety and health. This commitment has translated into an accident rate far below the industry national average and a workforce that is aware of and sensitive to the health and safety of everyone.
